i took this picture when i had an old AE-1. that’s exactly the way the film came out, no editing. i can’t really explain why it’s my favourite. i’ve taken better pictures than it, but this one trumps them all.

in nine hours the speeches start and soon after we all march across the stage, shake a few hands, pick up a pin and cheer for our collective papers. i can’t decide if i’m looking forward to convocation or not. it imparts a sort finality that i’m not sure i’m a fan of.
