there was probably a time when I would have gone nuts seeing bugs around my place, but as with many things nowadays, after last summer a lot of things don’t bother me at all. so it’s not really a surprise to me that seeing a random beetle crawling around in your shower is passed off with a shrug, or that the haphazard ant that somehow ends up in your beverage is plucked out without so much as batting an eye. spiders have never botherd me anyway, so seeing them around isn’t that big a deal. especially considering the size of the ones i chased around in my bathroom in Dhaka.

that’s not to say that no bugs bother me anymore. cause, you know, you set a bee or a wasp loose around me and i’ll probably flail and run. unless i have a plastic spoon and go all ninja on them.
