my room is the cleanest it’s been in months. how come when family comes to visit you suddenyl go into ‘oh shit it has to be clean everything has to be super clean and totally unrealistically clean!’ mode? to be fair, i dont think my sister would like to crash in a room where the floor is covered in piles of clothes in some random order of clean and to be laundered.

and i get to clean up again in a few weeks cause my parents are coming out for a few days. actually, it’s not so bad. i managed to fill an entire green garbage bag of crap i just had lying around that i didn’t really need.

so hey, i turn 25 in a week tomorrow. crazy. there’ll probably be an open invite to the cambie next friday for it. you are all encouraged to come and tell me that im a quarter century old. also, for once, i’d actually like that my suggestion of playing laser tag for my birthday actually happens. because laser tag is cool. and if you dont believe me, then perhaps you’ll believe He Who Wears The Suits.

i need to shave 2:10 off my defense presentation. we had our mock defenses yesterday. apparently i pretty much rocked the presentation but it was just a bit too long. so now i have no reason to get jazzed up about the real thing on monday. that reminds me, i need to pick a suit and have it pressed. and a shirt. cause i avoid ironing at all costs. ok, poll, which of these suits should i wear to my defense on monday:

i don’t think i have a full picture of the last one. which is funny cause that’s the first suit i ever had. my cousin bought it for me. it’s the navy blue fitted type and for a first suit looks pretty rad.
