actually, there is water on the fireplace. I had my camel pack loaded up ready to go, was getting some other stuff organized, turned around and “aw shit…” about time for a new water container methinks.

part of what i enjoy about getting an extra day off every month is that usually it happens around the long weekends. like this weekend. so while everyone toils at their desk today, I’ve got the van loaded up ready to head down to the badlands, do some hiking, do some fishing, do some sitting by a fire, and generally being awesome at life while everyone else is watching the clock waiting for the weekend.
