honestly, this bar has shitty karaoke selection wise. way too much country and shit that people would never sing. but the upside is that it’s basically the bar where all the drunk 50 year olds go and sing so terribly that it’s pretty much the best entertainment you can find. Â the benefit there is that if you have even a modicum of singing ability they all think you’re fucking fantastic. which is true anyway, so really it’s nothing new. any time i’ve gone to karaoke over the last few months at some point i’ll sing something and afterwards random people from all over the bar come over and shake my hand and say “dude that was fucking amazing!” i can gauge a bad karaoke night by having fewer than four people say that to me. last night was not a bad night.
