so yesterday i went up to the rents house to decorate the xmas tree. it doesn’t feel as though it has the same pomp and circumstance as it used to. i had planned on staying the night and leaving early this morning to come back down to catch derby practice this afternoon and then later head out to see some live bands in town with one of the derby girls and her husband. and while i did manage to stick to the plan of coming back down here this afternoon, practice has again been cancelled due to cold weather and sheena’s husband is sick. this of course leaves me sitting here going “aw for fucks sake…” for the second weekend in a row.

my balcony door is frozen shut. maybe not so much frozen as it is welded shut with ice.

i guess maybe i could go get some xmas consumering done since I really haven’t done any at all yet.

actually, i might go over to the Valhalla Pure outfitter store and poke around. never a bad time to look for camping gear.
