the guy who laughs at 2:30 is one of the aforementioned Floor Douches who complained that Giant was the worst Matt Good song he’d ever heard. I crowded that fucker out of the encore. i refrained from singing along while i filmed this. i also have two thirds of Giant filmed, but then one of the security guys came over and told this other guy who was recording right next to me to stop and then he started to turn to me so i was like fack, off it goes.

there were also these two chicks standing in front of me pretty much the entire time. at one point they both kind of did that thing where you not so secretly look at someone and then huddle and look at them sideways and they always see that and their like “what?” so in this case I was like “what?” and they were like, “you’re singing along to everything, right?” to which I shrug and agree. and they both look at each other, than at me again and say “you sound JUST like him!” and im all “uh, ok?” and they’re like “no, that’s not a bad thing!” and then i thought, oh if only I could take them seriously, but I’m not sure I can seeing as how they spent the whole time before the concert standing there all hipster high school drama, and at one point I may or may not have interjected in their discussion about fake IDs and told them to make them from the Yukon because they’re the easiest to fake.
